教学目标能力目标：   
1. 能够描述自己以何种方式上学并简单陈述原因，如：Usually I go to school by bus, because it’s fast.
2. 能够听懂Let’s try的录音内容，并选出正确选项。
知识目标：
    能听、说、读、写四会掌握句子：“How do you go to school? Usually I go to school on foot. Sometimes I go by bike.”并能在情景中正确运用。
情感、策略、文化等有关目标：
     加强小组成员之间的交流与合作，增强学生的自主学习能力，并且提高学生的安全意识。
教学重点  1.能够在现实生活中灵活运用句型“How do you go to school?” Usually I go to school on foot. Sometimes I go by bike.
2.能够表述自己的上学方式并简单陈述原因，例如：Usually I go to school by bus, because it’s fast. 
教学难点能在实际情景中运用所学句型，并能够针对具体情况正确熟练使用 usually  sometimes 两个频度副词。
课前准备1.与本课时相关的教学挂图。
2.录音机和本单元的教学录音带。
3.第一课时的单词卡片。

一准备活动1. T: Good morning. How do you go to school today? Now let’s sing a song “How do you go to school?”
2. This time, please chant with me:
 How do you go to school?
 Sometimes by bike,
 Sometimes by car,
 But I never go by train.
 How do you get to Paris?
 Never on foot, never by bike,
 Always by car, bus, or plane. 

 1. The Ss answer the question first, and then sing the song together.
2. Ss chant it together. 
二新知呈现   
 1.     T出示第一课时的词卡，依次询问学生: How do you go to school?
 Ss: I go to school…
2.     T: Now let’s spell the sentence together.
3.     Boys and girls, you go to school on foot, by bike, by bus, and so on. But what about me? How do I go to school? Can you ask?
4.     T answer: Usually I go to school on foot, because my home is near. Sometimes I go by bike. T放慢语速说两遍，并重读usually与sometimes。说完后，T强调一下near,并对比教读一下far.
5.     Now let’s spell and write the sentences: Usually I go to school on foot. Sometimes I go by bike.
6.     T 领读句型：
How do you go to school?
Usually I go to school on foot. Sometimes I go by bike. 
7.     game:开火车练习句型。
 T: How do you go to school?
 S1: I go to school…
How do you go to school?
 S2: I go to school…
  How do you go to school?
 S3: …
 ...1.     学生依据词卡来回答问题：I go to school…
