一、教学重点
　　1．能够熟练运用打电话用语，并区分打电话用语和日常用语的区别。
　　2．能够熟练掌握现在进行时的用法。
　　3．能够读懂、理解、朗读两个Let’s read部分的对话。
　　二、教学难点
　　1．现在进行时的用法不仅仅体现在动词的现在分词上，还应体现在be动词上，学生往往忽视，提醒学生注意。
　　2．灵活运用Let’s read 中的语言，并能自己自编对话。
　　三、课前准备
　　 1．录音机及相关录音带。
　　 2．第一个Let’s read部分中的部分插图。
　　 3．教师事先准备好的电话和同学家庭的电话号码。
　　四、教学过程(本文来自优秀教育资源网淘.教.案.网)
　　1．Warm up （热身）
　　活动一：Let’s sing
　　教学参考时间：1-2分钟
　　教师播放歌曲 “We are Going Back”的录音，学生齐唱。
　　活动二：Let’s chant
　　教学参考时间：1-2分钟
　　教师播放本单元Listen and write部分的录音，学生边唱边跟读。
　　2．Preview   （预习）
　　活动三：Let’s say
　　教学参考时间：5-6分钟
　　 （1）教师出示五年级下册第五或第六单元的有关图片，提示学生用“现在进行时”的句子描述图中的场景。
　　 （2）教师出示Let’s read第一部分中的相关插图：Zhang Peng is playing the piano. Chen Jie and Mike are singing. John is dancing. Ed is opening a present. Amy and Wu Yifan are playing games.教师请学生别用现在进行时态来描述图中的内容。
　　      教师要注意在学生说句子的过程中指导出现的错误，尤其是在表达某人正在做某事时，学生容易忽略be动词的使用，只记住了动词的现在分词形式，提醒学生注意。
　　 3．Presentation   （新课呈现）
　　  活动四：Let’s make a phone call
　　  教学参考时间：5分钟
　　 （1）教师拿出事先准备好的电话，或者用手势做出要打电话的样子说：Now, I want to call someone in our class. Listen carefully, maybe it’s you. First I will dial the numbers.
　　（2）教师事先准备好学生家庭的电话号码，随意找出几位同学的号码，用英语说出电话号码。
　　（3）请同学根据听到的电话号码，站起来接电话，同时也训练了学生的听力能力。学生听到老师播自己家的电话号码也会很兴奋。
　　（4）请同学和老师进行一个电话对话。
　　（5）和同学一起总结打电话用语，注意与日常用语的异同：
　　     找人：May / Can / Could I speak to …，please?
　　     自我介绍：This is … speaking.
　　               It’s … here.
　　     询问对方是谁：Who’s that / calling / speaking, please?
　　     稍等：Hold on, please.
　　           Wait a minute / moment, please.
　　     叫人：…, it’s for you. / It’s your phone call.
　　           A phone call for you. / You have a phone call.
　　       不在：Sorry, but she/he is out.
　　             Sorry, but she / he isn’t in / here.
　　（6）请同学编一段打电话的小对话。
　　活动五：Let’s read P67 What are they doing?
　　教学参考时间：7-8分钟
　　教师出示P67--Let’s read部分的教学挂图，说：Look at this picture. Miss White and 

her students are having a farewell party. But Liu Yun doesn’t come. Why? What’s the matter with her? Let’s read the dialogue.
　　请同学自己阅读对话部分，不清楚的和不明白的可以互相讨论或问老师。
　　教师提出问题：
　　What’s the matter with Liu Yun?
　　Is everybody having a good time?
　　What are they doing?
　　Are the students happy?
　　完成Answer the questions部分的练习。
　　教师放Let’s read P67部分的录音，学生跟读，然后分角色朗读对话。
　　教师说：In the end of the dialogue, Miss White says she will give Liu Yun a big surprise. Do you know what it is? Can you guess?
　　教师可以让学生自由发言，不要纠正他们，就是给他们创造说语言、使语言的机会。
　　活动六：Let’s read P72
　　教学参考时间：6-7分钟
　　（1）如果刚才学生的答案有正确的，教师说：Just now, …’s answer is right. The big surprise is Miss White and her students come to Liu Yun’s house to see her and bring her many gifts. This is the big surprise.
　　（2）教师提出问题：
　　Is Liu Yun happy that day?
　　How is Liu Yun that day?
　　Does she like collecting stamps?
　　Do the students bring gifts for her? What are they?
　　（3）请学生自己阅读对话或分小组阅读，然后回答老师的问题。
　　（4）教师放录音，学生跟读。
　　（5）分角色朗读对话。
　　4．Let’s play   （趣味操练）
　　活动七：Make a new dialogue
　　教学参考时间：5分钟
　　请同学仿照两段对话内容自己编一段新的对话内容，最好能够运用上打电话用语及现在进行时态。内容自定。
　　展示对话。教师可根据同学编的对话内容，随时提几个小问题给大家，目的不是检验学生的听力能力及理解能力，而是提醒大家注意倾听。
