　　这一单元着重讲形容词的比较级和最高级，进一步完善了语法教学的整体性，更有利于学生的学习、理解和掌握。

　　教学目标

　　1. 能够用形容词的比较级和最高级来谈论自己、朋友及其他人或事物及喜好，如： What’s the best cinema? 

　　2. 学习形容词比较级和最高级的规则变化和不规则变化。

　　3. 听：能听懂谈论个人喜好的对话材料。

　　　 说：能够谈论个人喜好。

　　　 读：能读懂作比较的文章和句子。

　　　 写：能写出SECTION A和SECTION B 中的重点单词和重点句型，并能够对周围的人物和环境作比较。

　　教学重点

　　1. 重点词汇：theater, cinema, trendy, quality, comfortable, close to, seat, screen, jeans, performer, radio station, new, big, friendly, fun, boring, popular, cheap, service, creative, clothes, clothing, store, music, piano, actor, music video, TV show

　　2. 语法重点：掌握形容词比较级与最高级的规则变化和不规则变化

　　教材分析

　　本单元以What is the best radio station为话题,共设计了三个部分的内容：

　　一、Section A

　　该部分有4个模块：

　　1．第一模块围绕How do you choose what movie theater to go to ?这一话题展开思维（ 1a）、听力（1b）、口语（ 1c）训练；

　　2．第二模块围绕A reporter interview a boy 进行听力（ 2a-2b）、口语训练（ 2c）；

　　3．第三模块就Places in town这一话题展开训练，训练形式为阅读填表（ 3a）和角色表演（3b）；

　　4．第四模块就Where are we going for lunch以小组活动形式展开讨论。

　　二、Section B

　　该部分有4个模块：

　　1．第一模块是词汇的学习（ 1a

　　2．第二模块围绕The school talent show进行听力（ 2a-2b）、口语训练（ 2c）；

　　3．第三模块继续围绕The school talent show这一话题展开填空（ 3a）和写作（3b）训练；

　　4．第四模块就What /Who do you think is the …这一语言目标以口语训练形式展开小组活动。

　　三、Self Check

　　该部分有2个模块：

　　1．第一模块以填空形式对所学词汇进行训练；

　　2．第二模块就三个城市的信息展开阅读和写作训练。

　　第一课时：Section A： 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 2b, 2c.   

　　第二课时：Grammar focus ,  Section A 3a, 3b, 4.

　　第三课时： Section B： 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 2c

　　第四课时： Section B： 3a, 3b, 4, self-check

第一课时

　　教学目标

　　1. 词汇及短语: comfortable , seat , screen , close , close to , quality , theater , cinema , radio , radio station .

　　2. 能力目标: 掌握一些形容词的比较级和最高级.

　　3. Grasp question and answer: What’s the best movie theater? Why?

　　                        　　 Town Cinema. It’s the cheapest….

　　4.Difficult Points :   特殊形容词的比较级和最高级以及在句中的表达。

　　教学过程

　　一、导入（  Lead- in ）

　　1 .教师播放一首英文歌曲“The more we get together”，让学生认真听，了解歌词大意.

　　说明：在歌曲中调动学生情感，营造氛围，并有意识地复习前面学过的形容词的比较级和最高级。

　　2. 复习（Revision）

　　 向学生展示三幅名人的图片，让他们在名人间进行比较。可以谈论他们的身高，体重，年龄，头发等。

　　 例：T: What do they (Jackie Chen, Tom Hanks, Nicholas) do?

　　    Ss: They are actors.

　　     T: Yes, and they acted many movies, right?

　　    Ss: Yes.

　　     T: So they are movie stars.

　　（注释：成龙：Jackie Chen；  汤姆·汉克斯：Tom Hanks；  谢霆锋：Nicholas）

　　说明：通过对明星的外形的比较，使学生有效地复习了前面学过的描述人、物的形容词，及其比较级、最高级。
