Step 1 Warm-up
(1)Sing an English song “The panda”.
(2)Dialogue
T: Look! There’s a nature park. What’s in the park?
S: There’s a lake in the park.
S: There’s a forest in the park.……
T: Is there a river in the park?
S: Yes, there is.
T: Is there a path in the park?
S: No ,there isn’t.
Step2、Review
1.Let’s try: Listen and circle.
Boy: It’s a beautiful nature park. There is a lake and a forest.
Girl: Is there a mountain?
Boy: Yes , there is.
Girl: Is there a rover?
Boy: No, there isn’t.
Step3、Presentation

1. T: I live in a city. What’s a city?
Show the card and teach the words: city
T: ZhangPeng and John are talking about a city. What’s the city like?
2. Listen to the tape and read after the tape
T: Is there a nature park in the city?
S: Yes, there is .
T: is there a river in the park?
S:Yes ,there is .
Is there a farm in the park?
S: no , there isn’t.
3. Practice: Ask and answer in pairs.
Pronunciation
1. 教师出示挂图,领读字母组合“or”下面的一组单词。读的时候,有意强调“or”的发音。教师引导学生找出“or”的发音规则。同法教学字母组合“er”“wh”的发音规则。

2、教师提供一些包含字母组合er,or,wh的单词,让学生试着读一读。
