Aims:
1、能够听、说、读、写五个动词的第三人称单数形式:lives, teaches, goes, watches, reads.
2、能够听、说、认读句子:Does your pen pal live in Shanghai? No, he doesn’t. He lives in Beijing.
3、能够听懂、说唱歌谣“Tell me about your pen pal”.
4、能够听懂、理解story time中的故事。
Main and difficult points:
Main point: 能够听、说、读、写五个动词的第三人称单数形式:lives, teaches, goes, watches, reads.
Difficult point:区别使用后缀s和es.
Preparation:
录音带、机、单词卡。
教学步骤:
1. Warm-up
A. Let’s sing, “How do you go to school?”
B. Let’s sing, “My pen pal”.
2. Preview
A. Show the words cards of A let’s learn, let the students spell the words.
B. Listen to the tape of A Let’s read and let them repeat.
C. Greetings: e.g.:
Where are you from?
What do you do on …?
How do you go to school?
Do you go to school by …?
Do you read newspapers in the evening?
3. Presentation
Let’s learn
A. To learn “live”: Teacher writes, “live” on the Bb: I live in … Where do you live? Let them answer, then show a picture (fish): What’s this? Does it live in the sky? Let the students answer: No, it doesn’t. It lives in rivers. Then show other pictures: Does …live in …? Let them answer. Teacher writes on the Bb: Does your pen pal live in Shanghai? No, he doesn’t. He lives in Beijing. And teach the word “live”.
B. To learn “teach”. T says: I teach English, does Mr. … teach English, too? Let them answer: No, he doesn’t. He teaches …. Bb: teaches, then ask and answer with the other teachers.
C. T: I go to school by… How do you go to school? How does your father go to work? Does he goes to work by…? Bb: goes to work. And teach “watches” and “reads” by this way. 引导学生比较动词原形有其第三人称单数形式,并用这两种形式造句加深印象,让学生在比较中逐步掌握。
D. Game: A quick show

F. Listen to the tape of B Let’s learn, let them repeat.
G. Students ask and answer in true.
Let’s practise:
A. 四人小组讨论用英语描述Bill 一天,并轮流用英语表达。
B. 每个小组派代表上台介绍。
C. Game: 考考你的记忆力:
教师介绍某人的一天,然后请学生复述。
Let’s chant
A. Listen to the chant and sing after it.
B. Sing the chant in groups.
Story time
Show the picture: “What are they doing? What does Joe see? Does Joe like the monkey? Then listen to the story, and students follow and read in role.
教学后记:
